The Royal University of Fine Arts (RUFA), Phnom Penh
The Royal University of Fine Arts is a university in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Its origins date to the establishment of the École des arts Cambodgiens in Phnom Penh in 1918. The school was closed after the establishment of the Khmers Rouge regime in 1975; it was re-opened in 1980. Today the University is working to become a World-class institute for archaeology, to train the next generation of local archaeologists and historians.
